HOURS AND LOCATIONS


 

Central Location -- 251 Undergraduate Library: 333-8796; Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm, 6pm - 9pm; Friday 9am - 3 pm; Sunday 1pm -5pm

The main location of the Writers' Workshop serves undergraduates, graduate students, staff, and faculty from virtually any background.  Clients can work on any university-related writing project including the following:     

course papers  -- cover letters -- resumes -- personal statements -- applications

theses -- dissertations -- articles for publication

 

PAR Satellite -- Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Hall: 333-2950; Monday -Thursday 7 pm - 9pm

PAR (Room 106)   The PAR satellite is convenient for students on the east side of campus, especially during the dark winter months. This satellite is open to all students, not just PAR residents.

 

Engineering Satellite -- 435 Grainger Library: 333-3576; Monday 1 pm - 4 pm; Tuesday 2 pm - 4pm; Wednesday 11am - 2pm; Thursday 9am - 11am

The Grainger satellite is convenient for students on the north end of campus or when the main site is booked up.  It is widely utilized by engineering students, but is available to everyone. 

 

Bioscience Satellite-- 135 Burrill Hall: 333-6774; Monday  9am - 1pm; 7pm – 9pm Tuesday  9am –12pm; 2pm –4pm; 5pm – 6pm; 7pm – 9pm ; Wednesday  7pm – 9pm;  Thursday 8am – 10am ; Friday 10am – 1pm

This Biosciences satellite is geared specifically toward students in the sciences, and features a staff deeply familiar with scientific writing and subject matter.  Students from other backgrounds may use the site, but priority will be given to work from scientific disciplines.
